Will the black coating wear off?
PVD is far more durable than plating or paint. With normal wear it keeps its colour, although heavy knocks on hard surfaces can mark any coated metal.
Can I switch back to the rubber strap?
Yes. Keep the original strap and swap between the two whenever you like.
Care & Maintenance
Wipe your watch with a soft, dry microfibre cloth after wear, especially after heat, sweat or sand. Steel bracelets can be rinsed with fresh water and dried straight away; rubber straps can be cleaned with mild soap.
